Locals said it wasn\u2019t <em data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"238\">that<\/em> cold \u2013 but trust me, I felt it. I got sick, froze, and wasn\u2019t exactly at my best. But hey \u2013 the conference won\u2019t attend itself, so I pushed through two full days of learning and connecting with the <strong data-start=\"437\" data-end=\"461\">Nordic fintech scene<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"819\">One observation from the trip: Nordic culture is&#8230; reserved. Let\u2019s just say they\u2019re not exactly <em data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"570\">waiting<\/em> for visitors from the Baltics or beyond. They\u2019re comfortable with their own \u2013 with the networks and relationships they\u2019ve built over generations. Southern or Eastern fintech \u201ctroublemakers\u201d? Often met with a polite smile&#8230; and a bit of skepticism.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"1040\">Still, it was great to connect with the team from <strong data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"898\">Nordic Fintech Magazine<\/strong> and a few others from the local community. And despite the frost, <strong data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"991\">Stockholm Fintech Week<\/strong> is definitely a conference worth visiting again.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1042\" data-end=\"1179\">I even stepped onto the <strong data-start=\"1066\" data-end=\"1083\">startup stage<\/strong> to pitch my project \u2013 a familiar but long-forgotten feeling.
